At first the changes were gradual. However now, it is obvious. Business people, educators, health care professionals all must work at understanding technologies that are no longer new, those that are no longer peripheral to day activity.

The Health Care Industry was one sector of the economy that lagged behind retail, financial and other industry in adopting to information technology. Paradoxically science and education were already utilizng these tools.
