Oracle buys Cerner

This news will  be beneficial for all concerned.. Epic,  another EMR vendor has been number one in the EMR space   for now. Cerner  has been using AWS services and will be able to combine their services from Oracle with electronic medical records

. This will give Cerner considerable decrease in cost for cloud services. Most EMR are now running in the cloud.

The market is still adjusting to this acquisition. While market analyst areambivalent about the acquisition, Digital Health Space is enthusiastic about the move
